Good Monday to you all. Hey, here’s a thought for us today:
I believe we may have too many evangelists for the Rona against the Rona, for a vaccine against a vaccine, for a strategy, against a strategy, for a particular medical narrative, against another medical narrative, for a politic, against a politic.
All that is a lose-lose.
As Christians, people of the Manual (God’s word the Bible) we are to preach Christ crucified and risen and ascended. Because in him the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is caging that news. Stop evangelizing for inferior narratives and begin offering the good news of Jesus. (Check Colossians 1:15-20)
We are losing our voice by equating the message of Jesus with teachings that have the appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made religion or harsh treatment of the body or of knowing secrets that others don’t know.
If you are tired of not knowing what to believe, try propagating the the eternal message that comes straight out of the Book, it never runs out of style and possesses supernatural power to rip a soul from death’s clutches and birth them into life. That’d be worth your time.
Here’s our good news Monday:
