Local church engagement: haven health clinic and virtual baby bottle boomerang

TID #71 The Christian Life Theology in the Dirt

The guys are back this week to introduce a new series that we will be diving deeper into through various subtopics all about the Christian life and how to live out our calling and purpose in the world through the Biblical framework set for us in the Word of God. We will be discussing things like money, marriage, parenting, gender and sexuality, medicine, political systems, education, the created order, and much more throughout this ongoing series that we believe is at the very heart and DNA of this podcast. Hope you are excited as we are. Remember to follow us on social media @theologyinthedirt and online at http://www.theologyinthedirt.com. Today, Theology in the Dirt has two special guests: Scott Wood, Ministry Director for local engagement for Three Rivers Church and Lisa Moore, Executive Director of Haven Health Clinic. We discuss the work of local engagement through TRC as well as the rich history of work by Haven.

Haven does not charge for its services, so they rely completely on donations. Since Covid-19, Haven was not able to have it’s spring fundraising initiative, Baby Bottle Boomerang. Listen to the podcast and learn about Haven and what “Baby Bottle Boomerang” is, and the chance to make up the $50,000 loss due to not being able to execute the “Boomerang”.

Here is the link for all of Rome and Floyd County to help Haven make up that loss. https://threeriversc.churchcenter.com/giving

If you don’t want to participate with us, then by all means do your own work to help Haven keep moving forward.

When you click on that link above, click the drop down menu and select “Haven Health Clinic: Baby Bottle Boomerang” and give the amount that God puts into your heart. See the photo below. We will make sure all those designated funds get to Haven.

Thank you for listening, and thank you for helping keep vital services for our area’s women available.
