Today, Theology in the Dirt has two special guests: Scott Wood, Ministry Director for local engagement for Three Rivers Church and Lisa Moore, Executive Director of Haven Health Clinic. We discuss the work of local engagement through TRC as well as the rich history of work by Haven.

Haven does not charge for its services, so they rely completely on donations. Since Covid-19, Haven was not able to have it’s spring fundraising initiative, Baby Bottle Boomerang. Listen to the podcast and learn about Haven and what “Baby Bottle Boomerang” is, and the chance to make up the $50,000 loss due to not being able to execute the “Boomerang”.

Here is the link for all of Rome and Floyd County to help Haven make up that loss. https://threeriversc.churchcenter.com/giving

If you don’t want to participate with us, then by all means do your own work to help Haven keep moving forward.

When you click on that link above, click the drop down menu and select “Haven Health Clinic: Baby Bottle Boomerang” and give the amount that God puts into your heart. See the photo below. We will make sure all those designated funds get to Haven.

Thank you for listening, and thank you for helping keep vital services for our area’s women available.
