Sunday I preached my “sabbatical” sermon in which I unpacked some of my focused study on “the church”. I have recently completed my first sabbatical in 16 years, and had lots to tell you!
It was good to share that with you, and I hope you were encouraged and challenged.
There was so much I wanted to say further, but the truth is that sermons are limited in time and scope and our attention spans.
So, I thought I’d share a few more implications on the church as first fruits this morning.
I often work from my home “office” as we don’t have a actual facility to call our own, so ignore my son’s folded clothes that they managed to wash, fold and leave on the couch behind me. They have work to do after spring football practice today and student ministry end of year party tonight!
