Phase 1 Challenge for Restoration Rome

Last week I told you about our need to raise some funds to complete our construction of the comprehensive care center Restoration Rome Center for Foster Care Services.

In response to that a dear church member wanted to give $100 and challenge other folks in our church to give the same about with the desire that we can recruit other people from other churches and the community to also give $100. 2,000 folks giving $100 gets us to the goal we set.

So, we challenged Three Rivers Church to give $100 to Restoration Rome.

The Jolly family has accepted the challenge, and we have given this amount to Restoration Rome. Will you do it and get someone else to join you?

If you are a member of another church, please don’t take from your giving to give to us. Give in addition to giving to your church. The “tithe” should not be divided and spread out. Give it to your church for her glorious mission to disciple the nations. Give the $100 in addition to that. Be generous.

We are giving in addition to our “tithe”. Here is our biblical incentive:

Proverbs 11:24 (ESV) One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.

If you are not a Christian or are from another faith background, there is no greater cause in our city than making sure we can take care of the children in our city/county with a unified effort.
